I began Tiny Tugs with a light sketch of where I'd wanted these tugs to sit. After mixing all colors I chose for this painting on my palette, I then blocked out with my palette knife the shape of each boat. Adding visual interest as I went to create a whimsical and fun tugboat oil painting on cradled board. Enjoy!
